  INSTALLATION      

During the process of stud welding, an arc is created between the face of the stud and the surface of the workpiece. This causes both surfaces to melt, allowing the stud to be smoothly attached to the workpiece. Elements used in welding such as threaded studs, pins, and tapped pads can be welded through an arc without the need for additional material. As the stud is attached to the workpiece throughout the entire surface of the stud, the strength of the joint is even greater than that of the base material or the stud alone.

The company uses two types of Stud Welding:

  • Capacitator Discharge (CD) Stud Welding

  PINS AND WASHERS  

Fastening systems that are perfect for use in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, signage, and construction industries are known as stud-welding fasteners. The stud welding insulation pin is a capacitor discharge weld insulation fastener. To install insulation using these welding pins, one needs to use a stud welding machine to weld the pins on the sheet metal. Once the pins are welded, the insulation can be put through the welding pins, and a self-locking washer can be pressed onto the pin. Finally, the pin can be bent over or clipped off to complete the insulation installation fastening process.
