BROWNFIELD SPECIALISTS
We specialize in designing and constructing process plants within working plant environments, known as brownfields. Our unique approach minimizes existing plant production losses and maximizes productivity. Our engineers and designers are trained to handle these specific challenges and have the experience to undertake complex projects of this nature.
ICMI IMPLEMENTATION ASSISTANCE
We have experience in designing and constructing (or modifying) Cyanide handling and dosing plants that comply with the "International Cyanide Management Code for The Manufacture, Transport, and Use of Cyanide in the Production of Gold" as published and managed by the International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI). We also assist with preparations for the required technical audits by the ICMI.
CYANIDE DETOX
We offer extensive experience in Cyanide Detoxification (Cyanide Detox), which aims to reduce Cyanide concentration within tailings discharge, ensuring safe operations for employees and the environment. We provide feasibility studies and implementation projects to achieve this, using various destruction or dilution methods.
AMD AND MINING EFFLUENT TREATMENT
We specialize in treating Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) and general mining and industrial effluent. Our solutions include Ion Exchange, Membrane Filtration, High-Density Sludge (HDS) with final water polishing, and the Potassium Nitrate Ex-Waste (KNeWTM) process.
KNeW PROCESS
As the engineering partner for the developer of the patented KNeWTM (Potassium Nitrate Ex-Waste) process, we treat AMD and other mining/industrial effluent streams. This technology uses ion exchange and well-known industrial chemical processes to clean water and turn waste into valuable, saleable products. The process is flexible, producing various high-value products, Zero Liquid Discharge, minimized solid waste, and high water recovery.
